Niagara Falls Craft Distillers
New to the city of Niagara Falls on Lundy’s Lane, is Niagara Falls Craft Distillers. This new distillery is a Grain to Glass manufacturer of premium distilled spirits, making products such as Vodka, Gin and whiskey. The visitor centre situated at 6863 Lundy’s Lane has a state of the art tasting room, providing locals and tourists alike an opportunity to taste and buy all the liquor made onsite. The brands created each tell a rich story of Niagara Falls’ colourful past…for instance, the whisky proudly showcases Annie Edson Taylor (the first person to tip over the falls in a barrell and survive) and the Gin is named Lundy’s Lane 1814 as a commemorative nod to the Battle of Lundy’s Lane in 1814.

"All New" Nightly Illumination of the Falls
Every evening throughout the year, the American and Horseshoe Falls are lit up in a spectacular array of colours.
On December 1st, 2016, the new and improved Falls Illumination in Niagara Parks was unveiled for guests from around the world to enjoy. The illumination of Niagara Falls was first made permanent in 1925 with 24 carbon arc searchlights. In 1974, a major enhancement replaced the lights with a new Xenon system, which received minor updates in 1997. Now almost 20 years later, Niagara Parks and the Niagara Falls Illumination Board are excited to showcase the new LED lights. The new lighting provides over twice the current brightness and a wider spectrum of colours while reducing dark gaps. The new, energy-efficient system will also use 82% less power than the previous Xenon lights. Be amazed by the beauty of the Falls at night.
